BIO Angelica essential oil (Angelica archangelica) is obtained through gentle steam distillation of the roots of this traditional herb cultivated in France. The oil has a rich, earthy, green-herbaceous and gently peppery aroma with deep spicy and slightly musky undertones.
The Angelica archangelica plant has a long history – in old Europe it was associated with protection, rituals and healing practices and was considered one of the most valuable herbs of early herbalism. Its name refers to the archangel Michael and the period when it traditionally bloomed.
