Rosemary

Rosemary is a perennial, strongly aromatic evergreen herb that we use as a seasoning. The herb can be harvested all year round.

Use

The young shoots are used in dishes. In the kitchen rosemary goes especially well with meat, roast potatoes and sauces.

Growing

• Grow the plants in containers so that they can be moved.
• Let them overwinter in a cool, bright room.
• It needs a sunny, bright position and does not tolerate waterlogging.

Rosemary is a rewarding herb for the terrace, the balcony and the garden. You can harvest the young shoots continuously as needed in the kitchen.

Thanks to its evergreen leaves the plant is decorative even over winter.
