1. Seed preparation: Soak the blue passion flower seeds in water for 24 hours. This will help speed up the germination process.
2. Soil preparation: Choose well-drained soil rich in nutrients. Add organic fertiliser or compost to the soil to improve its structure.
3. Sowing: Make small holes in the soil and place the seeds at a depth of approximately 1-2 cm. Then cover them with a thin layer of soil and press gently.
4. Watering: Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Water with a gentle stream to avoid washing out the seeds.
5. Temperature and light: Keep the growing environment warm (ideally around 20-25 °C) and place the pots with seeds in a bright location that is not exposed to direct sunlight.
6. Germination: Blue passion flower seeds should germinate within 1-2 weeks. After germination, keep the plants in a bright location.
7. Care for young plants: Once the first leaves appear, transplant the young plants into larger pots.
8. Support and pruning: Provide the plants with support and regularly trim excess shoots.
9. Transplanting outdoors: After the last frost and when the plants are strong enough, move them to an outdoor environment where they will have plenty of sun and space to grow.
