SALAD TOMATO SACHER, F1
One of the already forgotten plant treasures is this chocolate tomato, so called thanks to its pleasant dark skin colour and fruity, very pleasantly sweet aroma. The slightly flat fruits have a unique dark interior colour. The fruits are relatively durable and resistant to cracking. The tomatoes are suitable for direct consumption or in salads. The SACHER variety is robust and resistant to viruses and has a high lycopene content. Plants grow to a height of 50 - 180 cm and require a support stake. The weight of one fruit is around 120 g.
SOWING: Pre-cultivation February to April
SOWING DEPTH: 0.5 - 1 cm
GERMINATION: 10 - 14 days at 20-25°C
CULTIVATION: Prick out into pots, plant out after frosts.
SPACING BETWEEN PLANTS: 50 cm
ROW SPACING: 60 cm
HARVEST: July - October
