Fritillaria 1pc

Crown Imperial Fritillary, so-called Royal Crown – originally from Iran, is suitable for group plantings, beds, cutting, and as an impressive solitaire. It is distinguished by impressive bell-shaped flowers. Large yellow bulbs dry out quickly, so plant them as soon as possible in a sunny location in deep, slightly moist, permeable soil well supplied with nutrients. The fritillary will remain in one place for many years without replanting, but does not tolerate competition from plants with aggressive roots. Protect the plants in winter with peat mulch, conifer branches, etc. Their bulbs have a strong smell that repels voles and moles. If harvesting the bulbs, store them in a dry and cool place until planting.
