Optimal Growing Applications and Setup

This powerhouse HPS lamp excels in medium to large flowering environments where maximum photon density is essential for premium flower production. The 2050K color temperature provides the deep red and far-red wavelengths that plants require for robust flowering hormone production, while the massive 55,500 lumen output ensures adequate light penetration through even the thickest canopies.

Ideal for 3x3 to 4x4 foot growing areas, this lamp can effectively illuminate 4-9 flowering plants depending on training methods and plant size. The 400W rating provides the perfect sweet spot for most home and commercial operations, offering significantly more power than 250W units while remaining more manageable than 600W+ systems in terms of heat production and electrical requirements.

Position the lamp 18-24 inches above plant canopies during early flowering, adjusting height as plants develop to maintain optimal light intensity without heat stress. Always use with proper ventilation and heat management systems to maintain ideal growing temperatures.
