Apogee Instruments MQ-610 PAR meter
Apogee Instruments MQ-610 is a handheld PPFD measuring device with a cable-connected quantum sensor. It measures photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) from all light sources, displays the measurements and stores them.
Features
- Sensor head: fully potted, domed, waterproof and weather-resistant
- Sampling and data logging mode (log)
- Records the integrated daily total in mol m-2 d-1
- Memory for up to 99 averages
Usage
The device is used to measure PPFD at the tops of plants when growing outdoors, in greenhouses and in growth chambers. In log mode, the device measures every 30 seconds and stores an average after 30 minutes; when the memory is full, it overwrites the oldest records. The data can be viewed on the LCD display or downloaded to a computer using the AC-100 cable and ApogeeAMS software (an ordinary USB cable cannot be used).
