Non-ionic wetting agent Essential Wetter whose purpose is to reduce the surface tension of water and allow water molecules to spread and wet the waxy surface of leaves and soil particles. This ensures that water penetrates into the soil or through pores into the leaves.
Application methods for Essential Wetter:
Essential Wetter is an indispensable aid for attaching droplets to difficult-to-wet leaves and also helps the plant tissue absorb the nutrient solution. For use, mix Essential Wetter into the foliar feed and apply.
The most ideal way to apply Essential Wetter to soil is to create small holes in the soil surface, making it easier for the water/wetting agent Essential Wetter solution to penetrate through the hydrophobic surface layer. We strongly recommend monitoring the hydration of your soil to maximize growth. If sandy soils, soils rich in organic matter and growing substrates dry out completely before watering, they can repel water. If you water such soil, the water will simply run off without being absorbed.
This is a warning for gardeners, as they may believe they have watered their plants, but ultimately the water has simply drained away without moistening the soil. If water cannot easily penetrate and moisten the soil, this reduces the amount of moisture available to plants, decreases the rate of seed germination, seedling numbers and survival, as well as crop productivity. Lack of water in the soil also reduces the availability of essential nutrients to plants, resulting in limited growth and productivity. Keep in mind that Essential Wetter will help you cope with the effects of waxy organic coatings on the soil surface and organic matter surface, allowing water penetration and absorption. It reduces the surface tension of water, allowing water molecules to spread and wet the waxy surface of soil particles, so water can then penetrate into the soil through gaps.
The best way to apply Essential Wetter to soil is to create small holes in the soil surface, allowing water to penetrate through the hydrophobic surface layer.
