Copper sulphate is a copper-based fertiliser designed for supplementary nutrition of agricultural crops with higher copper requirements (e.g. wheat, oats, clover, etc.). Copper has a beneficial effect on chlorophyll stability and extends the period of active photosynthesis. When copper is deficient, nitrogen utilisation from fertilisers is significantly reduced. Use: on light and acidic soils, to suppress moss, lichen and plant diseases. The characteristic symptom of copper deficiency is white spots and white tips on leaves. Packaging: 500 g.
Copper sulphate has a wide range of uses. If you have a swimming pool, for example, you are probably dealing with a smaller or larger occurrence of algae in the pool. If so, you can try the effects of copper sulphate. It is successful in suppressing further algae growth.
As for the dosage of copper sulphate for algae control, it is approximately 5g per 1m3 of water. In addition to the correct amount of copper sulphate, regularity is also important. Copper sulphate should be used as a preventive measure against further algae growth approximately once every two to three weeks.
Copper sulphate in the household
Copper sulphate has practical uses in virtually every household. If you are faced with the question of whether to repaint a dirty or dusty part of a wall, or to postpone repainting with the help of "some" effective solution, you can reach for copper sulphate.
With the help of boiling water and flour, copper sulphate can be used to create a so-called cleaning dough, which works similarly to an eraser. Simply clean the wall with the non-sticky dough and then brush lightly. And how to make the dough? Pour 20g of copper sulphate into 0.5l of boiling water. Then, while stirring constantly, add plain flour, approximately 0.5kg. Process the mixture into a dough. Just be careful that no member of your family mistakes the prepared dough for, say, Christmas biscuit dough.
