Lemon-scented gum grows to a height of 30-45 meters, making it a medium to large tree. The leaves are long, narrow and alternate, reaching up to 20 cm in length. They have a light green color and smell intensely of lemon. This fragrance is one of the most characteristic features of this tree. The flowers are white in color. They are relatively inconspicuous, but still beautiful. They are a rich source of nectar for bees and other pollinators. Lemon-scented gum is considered a highly attractive tree that can serve not only as an ornamental tree, but also has practical uses in the world of cosmetics, medicine, construction and other industries.

1. Seed preparation: seeds may have a hard shell that prevents rapid germination. To increase the probability of successful germination, you can soak the shells in hot water for a few hours or gently scarify them.
2. Soil preparation: lemon-scented gum prefers well-draining, nutrient-rich soil. You can use a mixture of garden substrate and sand.
3. Sowing seeds: sow seeds into growing substrate in suitable growing containers. Cover them with a thin layer of soil. Try to keep the soil moist.
4. Germination: provide a humid environment, for example using a mini greenhouse or plastic film. The temperature for germination should be around 20-25 °C.
5. Seedling care: once the seeds germinate and seedlings are sufficiently strong, you can gradually acclimatize them to outdoor conditions by exposing them to daylight for increasingly longer periods.
6. Planting in the ground: once the seedlings are sufficiently large and strong, you can transplant them to their designated spot in the garden. Choose a sunny location.
7. Plant care: water plants regularly and keep the soil moist, but not overly waterlogged. Seedlings may be sensitive to frost, so protect them during winter, for example by mulching.
8. Growth and development: monitor the plant's growth and provide sufficient space for root system development.
