When it comes to fungal diseases, you need to strike hard with Kuprikol...

In short: Kuprikol is a copper oxychloride fungicide supplied as a wettable powder and used against fungal and bacterial diseases of potatoes, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, fruit and coniferous trees. For potato blight the dose is 40–50 g per 5 l of water, for tomato blight 17.5–20 g. Stir the spray continuously and never let it enter water.

Active ingredientcopper oxychloride

Peaches (leaf curl)30 g per 5 l, just before bud break

Kuprikol is a spray fungicide supplied in the form of a wettable powder. Kuprikol is designed to protect plants against fungal and bacterial diseases. The active ingredient of this fungicide is copper oxychloride (CuCl2 . 3 Cu(OH)2). Kuprikol is a plant protection product from the fungicide group, which are pesticides used to kill fungi (causative agents of fungal diseases) that attack plants. The main task of fungicides is to destroy fungal spores. Some fungicides are classified as harmful to both health and the environment. Nevertheless, the use of fungicides is very popular and sometimes the only effective way to combat fungal plant diseases.

Kuprikol fungicide can be used against a wide range of fungal diseases. Kuprikol is most commonly used to treat potatoes, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, fruit and coniferous trees. Specific uses for the most commonly grown crops are summarized in the following table, along with recommended dosage and protective period.

Preparation of spray from Kuprikol 50

Since Kuprikol 50 is supplied in the form of wettable powder, it must be prepared into application liquid before use. First, weigh the required amount of the product and mix it with a small amount of water into a thin slurry, which is then poured into an approved sprayer filled halfway with water. Mix the slurry in the water and fill the sprayer tank with water to the prescribed volume. Always prepare only the amount of application liquid that will be used at once! It is important during application to continuously stir the solution containing Kuprikol. Iron containers or white tin containers must not be used for mixing the application liquid or for application.

Pay attention to safety

Kuprikol 250 can be hazardous to health if used incorrectly, so it is necessary to use approved protective equipment when working with it. Use of chemical-resistant protective clothing, sealed goggles or face shield, respirator, rubber gloves and rubber boots is recommended. When working with Kuprikol, do not eat, drink or smoke. After finishing work, thorough washing with soap and warm water is necessary. Perform chemical spraying only in windless conditions to avoid contaminating surrounding vegetation, especially plants sensitive to copper.

First Aid

In case of accidental ingestion, rinse the mouth with water, do not induce vomiting, immediately seek medical help or contact your local poison control centre, and keep the product label at hand. In life-threatening situations, general first aid measures must be carried out and medical attention secured as quickly as possible. After inhalation of fumes, move the affected person to fresh air, in more severe cases medical attention must be secured as soon as possible. If Kuprikol gets into the eyes, first aid is carried out by thoroughly rinsing the affected eye with running water for at least 10 minutes, it is advisable to secure medical attention. Contaminated skin should be washed with plenty of water and if there is no surface damage, soap may also be used. In more severe cases of chemical burns, medical attention is necessary.

Be Considerate of Nature

Kuprikol is toxic to fish and other aquatic organisms, therefore it must not enter water! Try to use up the entire prepared amount of spray. Any remaining spray liquid or rinsing water should be diluted in a ratio of 1:5 and sprayed onto the treated area. The sprayer should be safely rinsed with a 3% solution of soda mixed with water or water with the addition of common detergent. Empty containers should be recycled after thorough rinsing (according to the previous instructions). Never pour residues of application liquid or rinsing liquid into the sewage system or in places where they could contaminate water sources!

Always read the package leaflet carefully before application and follow the instructions given!!!
