Autumn Fertilization

Have you already harvested your entire crop? Loosen the soil and provide your plants with the nutrients they need for another abundant harvest next year.

Autumn fertilisers are exceptional in that, unlike spring ones, they contain less nitrogen and more potassium, which strengthens plant tissues and thanks to which your fruit and ornamental trees and shrubs, perennials and lawn have a higher chance of surviving the winter without damage.

The selection of fertilisers on the market is vast. Choose those that are labelled as "autumn" and you can't go wrong.

If you have the opportunity, you can also use horse or cow manure, chicken manure or dig in mature compost.

Fruit trees are best supported with superphosphate in autumn. It can also be done in spring, but it doesn't have the same effect.
