Flair 58 Puck Screen
The puck screen for the Flair 58 coffee maker is placed on the coffee puck. It evens out the pressure of the water acting on the puck and, according to the manufacturer, helps achieve better extraction when preparing espresso.
The puck is the tamped layer of coffee in the portafilter. The screen above it helps to disperse the water.
